Ausstellung "Shadows of Skaters"

Due to corana we already had to cancel our exhibition for the project "Guys Only" last year. Even now there is still a lot of uncertainty, so we decided not to wait any longer and therefor we created the next photo exhibition in virtual form.
The black and white photo series "Shadows of Skaters" was shot a few weeks ago in Zurich. The weather was perfect. So the setting sun could perfectly shine on the skaters from the side and fantastic long contrasting shadows were created.
As an icing on the cake in the image composition, the sun was additionally reflected by the opposite glass window front of an office building and thus a second shadow was created.

Right on the wall to the left of the entrance you will find the photo gallery with the pictures of Anna-Rosa. The photos were shot directly in black and white. At home, in post-processing, only the brightness was slightly adjusted and the photos were cropped.
Daniel added graphic design elements to his photos in Affinity Publisher and Affinity Designer. The idea is to make the contrasts even stronger and to highlight the central elements, the skaters, in the image. You can decide for yourselves whether he succeeded or not.
On this day we were both on the road with our street cameras. Anna-Rosa used the Fujifilm X-S10 with the tele XF16-55mm f2.8 and Daniel shot with the Fujifilm X-H1 and the tele XF50-140mm f2.8.
Enjoy our first virtual exhibition.
